These reports, are then used for the important purpose of maintaining archives, using for references, legal purposes and insurance claims processing. 6 months to 2 years diploma courses are available in various institutes in India and abroad. Admission process in private institutes begins twice or thrice a year. In universities it begins with each education session. Fees begins from Rs.26,000/- for 6 month course to Rs.1,04,000/- for 2 year course and varies institute to institute depends upon the nationality and level of particular institute. A student, after completing 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English subject from a recognized Board or University, can get admission in these courses, conducted by various institutes dotted all over India and abroad. In America, the demand for medical transcription services is stated to be growing by 20% every year but availability is only 8%. India have a lot of opportunities to fill this gap due to a huge pool of English speaking man power. The cost of qualified personal is also the lowest here as compare to its counterpart in entire world.
